Uberlite - Slow Flyer 2 in 1 Modular Aircraft Ready to Fly
The Modular Slow Flyer for indoors and outdoors (on calm days). The cleverly designed magnetically snap-together flight module system allows you to quickly and easily swap from the Monoplane chassis to the Biplane chassis in about 5 seconds, that’s correct, 5 seconds! This is because the flight module and the servo connecting push rods are also magnetically connected so when the Flight module is installed the push rods will automatically connect.
Flight Module System
The Flight module system holds the motor & Propeller, ESC, Receiver, Battery and undercarriage in one combined unit.
Flight Module advantages
The advantages of the magnetic flight module system is firstly, the speed it takes to install into the airframe, secondly the flight module can eject from the model on impact. This means if the ground comes towards to too fast and you can’t avoid it, the flight module should un-snap on impact and should save your model from damage, and thirdly the weight advantage. These powerful magnets are very light so offer a weight saving over the model.
Battery and charging
The battery also takes advantage of the snap-together technique as used on the flight module so the battery is easy to install and remove from the power system when charging is required. The charger also uses the magnetic system to allow the battery to connect securely to the charger. The battery can be charged from a computer type USB supply or can be charged directly from the transmitter.
Flying
This is the fun part! The Uberlites, has without doubt, got to be one of the easiest and most fun plane you can fly. It will fly slow or fast and can be very aerobatic if you throw the sticks about or calm with a composed tranquil nature for when the mood takes you!
